About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the operational strategy of a global Bitcoin mining development company. Key Responsibilities:

Operational Strategy:

• Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies to achieve company objectives, including the global scaling of Bitcoin mining operations.
• Align operational goals with the company’s long-term vision and market opportunities.

Process Optimization:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize profitability.
• Leverage data-driven insights to streamline workflows and optimize resource allocation.

Energy Management:

• Collaborate with energy providers and internal teams to secure reliable, cost-effective power solutions.
• Develop and implement behind-the-meter and renewable energy strategies to support sustainable mining operations.

Team Leadership:

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
• Empower cross-functional teams to achieve operational and strategic goals.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to Bitcoin mining, energy use, and environmental standards.
• Stay informed about evolving regulatory landscapes and adapt strategies accordingly.

Supply Chain & Logistics:

• Oversee procurement, supply chain, and logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of equipment and resources for mining sites.
• Optimize supply chain processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

Project Management:

• Manage large-scale mining development projects from planning to execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Collaborate closely with the CEO, CFO, and other key executives to align operational strategies with overall business goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to drive decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a COO or senior operations executive, preferably in the cryptocurrency, technology, or energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Bitcoin mining operations, energy procurement, and blockchain technology.
• Demonstrated ability to scale operations and manage complex, multi-site projects in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of inspiring and driving cross-functional teams.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, particularly in energy and cryptocurrency markets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and cost control.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
